One of the best loved classical works forms the centre piece of an extraordinary mix of exhilarating music: Mozart's incredibly popular Clarinet Concerto, which was famously used as the theme to Out of Africa. Then two musical tribute's by one composer to another: Brahms' delightful set of Haydn variations, before the programme turns full-circle with Hindemith's brilliant and exciting homage to Weber.
